nice halfway for going to Lesotho
The decay of the paving between the accomodation and the revamp process thats currently happening.
Heating system in the room, the bed was bad, the shower in the bath is pathetic, food did not justify the rate nor the room,
nice relaxing atmosphere, old feel to the hotel
Friendly staff especially in the dinning room.
Our first room did not have a private balcony. The bed was so bad that you could see the sinking middle before even lying on it. Huge gap under the door. Wind came howling in. No curtain in the bathroom window and night light came pouring in. Second room very poorly decorated. No hot water at 9:30pm. Workman started work at 2:30am, dropping poles and making huge noise outside our bedroom window.
Friendly staff, Very accommodating, Found me another room in an already full hotel at no additional fees.
Cottages were very uncomfortable, very cold, insects under bedding. Toilet in one room, wash basin in another. No shower facilities. NO HOT WATER
I would like to thank the staff at Sani Pass Hotel for their porfessional attitude and friendly service. They exceeded our expectations and were treated to a fantastic break in the mountains. We will return to a place as well kept and friendly. The picnic at the Dam was an absolute icing on the cake. We loved relaxing in nature with our specially prepared picnic basket.
Staff friendly, great "home cooked food", revamp is a "work in progress" at this stage and is a major improvement.
The general manager was really terrific, and helpful, ( foreign Lady) Please say well done we are impressed. Brilliant problem solver.
after confirming my booking prior to going there. While i was travelling to Sani Pass Hotel I was phoned and told that their was an over booking and I would be assisted to get other accomodation at a cost. After refusing this on arrival I was told that I would be staying at another place. After complaining and insisting that I stay at Sani Pass I was accomodated there. That spoilt my stay
I liked the activities they have for kids.
Our room furniture was too old, the beds were too old. they didn't have a double bed in the main bedroom. We slept in 2 single beds joined together but separate linen which was not good for the couple.
Location and mountain view is unrivalled. Proximity to the mountains and the mountain pass is perfect. Attitude of the helpful and pleasant staff members was good.
Food and the quality thereof is lacking, and requires urgent improvement. Some of the hotel rooms need to be upgraded which I understand the hotel is in the process of doing. Management should ensure that all who come to stay at the hotel are treated equally. Overall, I would consider staying at the hotel again once the establishment completes its upgrade of the accommodation and sporting facilities, and improves the quality of their food; to ensure that I receive proper value for my money, as I feel that this is not currently aligned.
For the price I paid for one day I think it is ridiculous.to be honestly speaking, you can't pay r2000 a day and eat one kind of breakfast and dinner.you need a buffet for that kind of price and a serious one.ive been to hotels and resorts whereby you pay lless than that and get more than you bargained for..Sani pass is a reap off to people .sorrry to say it but that's the truth..on their advert on the Internet for November ,December and January they said they have special prices.when I got there the receptionist was mumbling when she was surpose to give me my special.i had to pay a full price.i paid r7000 for three days for something that was not worth it.i had to book out and go make a booking elsewhere..Sanipass is a reapoff..
The location and setting was good. staff was also good.
The water pressure from the shower was worse than pouring water from a kettle and was not hot. Food selection was very limited and could be improved. The cost per night for this hotel considering the activities, food, etc was definately too expensive.
The location was great. The view is excellent.
Facilities weren`t ready for use. The room did not have hairdryer, safe....Compared with the price the comfort of the Hotel was very poor.
